I was doing high end construction in scottsdale AZ when this happened. Still doing construction today. Nobody talks about the bailed-out banks, and the bail-outs allowing them to sit on the repossessed inventory for 5-6 years creating an artificial shortage of available housing to raise home values and kicking off the recovery on false pretenses. Nobody, especially the boomer home owners want to hear or believe it but the current home values a BS and the market cannot sustain its current valuations. The bankers, mortgage companies, appraisers, investors, and corrupt govenment officials within the zoning, and permit offices have destroyed this market, and its all fake.

That's something I'll be eagerly waiting for.

People don't realise how important competition is and how monopolies of tech or industry completely stagnate innovation and choice. The more competitors we have the better.

I have always been outsider in this world. Adopted, so always looking in on my family from the outside. Adopted, so I don't feel the same ties that other humans feel to their family or "roots." I prefer being alone and keeping a small social group. I prefer the quietness of being in my own head. I prefer not interacting with other humans at my place of work. I don't develop relationships with my coworkers, because the reality is, if I didn't need the money, I wouldn't even know these people or care. Every system I have ever put my faith in has betrayed me. Family, church, religion, friends, military, economic. Why develop relationships with these things (or the people within these systems rather), when they're just going to waste my time?

If you want to live in the AI world then you are free to make that choice but some places in this world dont even have electricity so this does not apply.Where was AI a couple of years ago during the pandemic as we sure could of used some help in controlling it.
